Peter Timoney

Peter Timoney has been Head Gardener at Scone Palace for over 20 years and in that time has nurtured, grown and cared for the Earl of Mansfield’s orchid collection. He has won many medals and prizes with the Earl’s collection, including a silver medal for their display at the World Orchid Conference in 1993, first prize and best in show at the Glasgow Orchid Fair 2003, and most recently, an RHS Certificate of Cultural Commendation in 2007.
